Qualification : (i) Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination. ( ii )National Council for Vocational Training ( NCVT) certificate in the relevant trade failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma/Certificate holder. It is clarified that ITI/equivalent Diploma/ Certificate holders will be considered only when candidates with NCVT certificate are not available.

Age Limit as on 06.01.2012 : 18 to 32 years

Application Fee : Fee of Rs. 50/- crossed IPO (Indian Postal Order) in favour of General Manager, Small Arms Factory, Kalpi Road, Kanpur for general candidates. However, candidates belonging SC.ST.PH etc., are exempted from the fee.

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,400/- per month

Age : Between 18 to 25 Years (Cut off date for determining the age will be 31/01/2012).

Physical Standards :

Medical Standards : i) Eye Sight: The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing glasses. ii) The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Application Fee: The candidates belonging to General and OBC category will be required to pay Rs 50/- (non-refundable) as application fee in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS)/Indian Postal Order/ Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Inspector General, (Northern) Frontier, ITBP, Payable at – SBI- IMA Dehradun, Code No – 0739.



How to apply


Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications (duly filled in Hindi or English only) complete in all respects and Candidate?s Admit Card duly filled, in the prescribed proforma . The application, either type written or neatly hand written in ink/ball pen, on one side only on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed on application duly attested by Gazetted Officer should be sent along with application fee, and enclosures as in para 8 to the "Inspector General, Northern Frontier, ITBP, Post – Seemadwar (Indira Nagar), Distt.- Dehradun (UKD), Pin code - 248146 " so as to reach on or before the prescribed last date i.e. 31st January, 2012 (31/01/2012). Envelope containing Application must be super scribed in bold letters "Application For The Post of Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary) in ITBP".
